Name Branding - A Blueprint For Your Attraction Marketing Success
Thursday, 15 January 2009
By Ana Hernandez

As I observe people's marketing efforts online, I see some folks truly missing out on the proper use of name branding. They're not realizing how powerful this is for online success!

See, personal name branding is nothing more than showcasing your company and the person behind the company doing what it is they do on a daily basis. Name branding helps people and companies stand head and shoulders above the competition by demonstrating how it is that they do things completely different from the rest.

Personal name branding helps YOU create credibility and trust. It helps you to gain more market share when done properly. It's the ideal way to bring a product or service to the marketplace and establish a working relationship between yourself, your product and your customers.

Remember, the challenge is to stand out out among the competing crowd, even famous names and brands already trying to dominate your marketplace. Therefore, you'll need to learn how to to draw a readership, a following of trusting persons that believe in you and what you stand for. This is the ticket

Info Products and E-books For Internet Marketers
Thursday, 15 January 2009
By Mike McCoy

Many people will agree that the Internet marketing business is one of the fastest growing and greatest industries to be in right now. This is true for a number of reasons, but most of all because of the simple fact that Internet marketers continue to make serious money. Even as our economy spirals downwards, those in the Internet marketing industry find ways to excel in the business world and rise above the odds to generate fortunes online.

However, while it is most certainly true that there is money to be made online, and that talented individuals are out there making piles of money online, the fact remains that unless an individual knows what he or she is doing, it is unlikely that he or she will become a major success at anything, Internet marketing included.

It is for this reason that those wishing to make a career move, or even those who wish to supplement their existing income by getting into Internet marketing, need to get a firm grasp of the Internet marketing industry. Fortunately, the online industry

6 Effective Ways to Use Twitter as a Lead Generation Tool
Wednesday, 14 January 2009
By Christian Fea

As you may or may not now, Twiter is a hot social networking community right now. According to the Compete, in November, 2008 Twitter had approximately 3,478,239 people visiting the site. Twitter grew 640% between November 2007 and November 2008.

So how can you harness all this growth into a relationship building system for lead generation or joint venture alliances? How do you provide value, direction, and an authoritative impression in the minds of your followers?

Here are 6 effective ways that I've found to contribute to the Twitter community that can be beneficial to your business or consulting practice.

1. Target your market to follow the right people

Ask yourself, "Who's my ideal client?" Once you define your target market, finding other people who share an affinity for your products and services is much easier. Twitter may have over 3.5 million users, but that's not your audience. More than likely your universe is much smaller than that. Even if you're in abroad spectrum market such as "online marketing" or "social networking specialist" you've got to narrow down

11 Recession-Proof Internet Marketing Methods
Wednesday, 14 January 2009
By Ian Lurie

  Yup, we're in a recession. A deep, deep, no-way-out, bottom-of-the-pit recession.

If you run a web site, it's easy to sit back and shut your eyes as we start the long downward roller coaster ride. But there are some things you can do to recession-proof your internet marketing:

1. Make every customer happy. It's easier to keep a customer than it is to get a new one. If something goes wrong, or if someone's blasting you via e-mail, think before you respond. Of course, you should always do this, but maybe think a little harder this time.

2. Focus on content. Go back over your site. Is every single page a perfect sales letter? If not, go over it again. Edit and re-edit. Post your edits each time. This is an iterative proces. But constant improvement will mean better conversion and better search rankings.

3. Think search engine optimization. Pay attention to the basic principles of search engine optimization. Have great content. Make sure your site is easily 'crawled' by the search engines. Don't engage in any tricky stuff that might

Is Site Submission to Directories Useful?
Wednesday, 14 January 2009
By Gabe

Some pontificate that Directory Submission is a Waste of Time

In the beginning there was the trading of reciprical links. Then Google found them and began ignoring reciprical links. After that wikis and blogs popped up and damaging SPAM forced wide spread use of the NoFollow tag.

After reciprical linking came direcotries of websites. Currently some state that directories are ignored by Google too and that we get nothing for the time and effort we put into submitting to hundreds of directories.

I've submitted 2 sites to web directories. This doesn't make me a pro but my experience has been basically good. (In case you are interested I use Directory Submitter.)

My Directory Submission Experiences

I run a very technical engineering wiki in a narrow niche. As a result I was being mostly ignored by Google in favor of Wikipedia. Then I submitted my website to approximately 350 web directories over the course of a few days (10 minutes here, 10 minutes there until it was complete).

After submitting my site to the

The Benefits of a Website for your Medical Practice
Tuesday, 13 January 2009
By Edward Murphy

Put Your Medical Practice on Top by Marketing on the Internet

More and more people are turning to the internet these days for their health and medical advice. What was once only a rare occurrence for patients has now turned into an opportunity for many physicians. For some people the cost and hassle of making an appointment just to get a question answered leads them to search the internet for advice and physicians. For others it is because theyve lost faith in their current physicians and dont know where else to find another one. Physicians can take advantage of this shift by looking to medical internet marketing for their practice.
It is amazing how many websites are out there that claim to give medical advice. More and more people are flocking to the internet to help diagnose their own health issues because of the growing inconvenience and costs associated with seeing a doctor. Offering such advice online, a physician can create credibility in the eyes of prospective patients. Websites for physicians attract this potential patient base and in the end, increase physician earnings.
Websites for

I've Got A Website, Now What?
Monday, 12 January 2009
By Deborah Gallant

It may have taken you months or years to get your professional website up. You slaved over the content and made sure that all your pages were tagged with metatags and keywords so it can be found on the Internet. You probably sent out an email to everyone on your list saying "look at my new website." You might have thought you were done. Not so fast.

Your work is not over once your website is live.

First, you need to promote your site. Some ways to do this:
-Add your URL to your business card. Reprint them if needed., do not handwrite the information on your existing card, that looks cheesy. Also include the new email address at your domain.
-Create or change the signature file on your email to include your domain. This is easy to do in standard email management programs like Outlook.
-Make sure any advertising or directory listings (in print or online) contain a link to your website.
-Add your URL to your Linked In

Successful Online Marketing Strategies
Monday, 12 January 2009
By Eric Rockefeller

The most advantageous and efficient way to make a business grow on the electronic market is by means of online marketing strategies that open the perspective of more targeted audiences and allow one to face tough competition in the best of manners. Maybe some take online marketing as a wonder means to get rich over night, but the truth is that the Internet rush for gold is in fact ghost chasing. Before you're making a fortune it takes hard work and continuous monitoring of the business market performance to check profitability. Moreover, the success of one business or another is also influenced by the economic situation of the sector it addresses or to which it belongs.

To give a relevant example here, let's consider the automobile industry in the context of the international financial crisis. If the car sales have dropped drastically, dealerships and all the businesses that activate in this market sector suffer a crash too. Hence, whether small or large, companies will have to change the online marketing strategies and try a different more drastic approach of the potential customers. Judging from

An Assessment of the Rich Jerk
Sunday, 11 January 2009
By Greg Morrison

Internet marketing is very popular nowadays. The different wealth programs over the net seem to sell like hotcakes. A lot of people who are financially distressed find a means to earn via the different programs which offer online and affiliate marketing.

While some would immediately give in to the temptation, others would take some time before coming up with a decision. Why is this so? It is due to the fact that many of the programs are just scams. They let you pay then leave you behind after getting your money.

The Rich Jerk Compared to Other Wealth Programs

Among the various money-making schemes all over the web, The Rich Jerk is one of the cheapest means to create a new financial source for people who want to learn. At around $10, you get the e-book. What could be its edge among some of its comrades like The Wealthy Affiliate University and Profit Lance? Here is an assessment:

The Products

The 60-page e-book of The Rich Jerk offers fresh and innovative ideas

Create RSS Feed and Promote RSS Feeds
Sunday, 11 January 2009
By Sharon Housley

RSS, or Really Simple Syndication as it is commonly known, is a technology that gives webmasters the ability to easily distribute and publish syndicated content on the Internet. It seems like all Internet businesses now have RSS feeds available; at least your competitors do. You have finally made the decision that you have to have one. Where do you start?

Steps to Creating an RSS feed

1.) Build a Feed

There are a number of desktop and web applications available that make feed creation easy. I would encourage anyone creating a feed to use one. Though not overly complicated, hand-coding an RSS feed can become a bit confusing and time-consuming. Most desktop software applications for building a feed include a wizard and contact-sensitive help, simplifying the process of creating a feed. Following a few simple steps in a wizard generally will produce an RSS feed in just a few minutes.

Publishers control what information is syndicated in the RSS feed, so ultimately it is the publisher's decision as to whether to include teaser copy or full articles. Consider

Directory Submission Gets You Lots Of Page Rank Benefitting - Inbound Links
Saturday, 10 January 2009
By Gabe

As the search engines are evolving each and every day, it's getting more difficult to get top search engine rankings.

The search engines now, gravitate towards websites that have a significant number of quality, one way DoFollow links referencing them. As a result, it's absolutely necessary that we consistently try to get other websites to link to us, WITHOUT a link pointing back.

Reciprocal linking is becoming almost meaningless. Submitting your website to website directories is a convenient way to receive, quality, 1 way DoFollow links referencing your websites. Most of the online directories have a high amount of page rank and have been online for a long time.

Page rank and site age are two of the most important variables in the determination of a good link vs. a bad link. A large number of these directories have both a high Page Rank AND age, giving them more authority and power in the eyes of the search engines designers.

Not only that, but there are literally thousands of website directories on the internet that are absolutely free for you to

5 Steps to Effective Business Social Networking
Saturday, 10 January 2009
By Leslie Hamp

Have you added social networking to your marketing tactics? From launching a business to connecting with media, prospects or potential collaborators, social media can help you get the job done. This is a perfect example of how true blue Guerrilla Marketers can represent their business while on a shoe-string budget. Where to start?

1. Write a Killer Profile.

In today's world you can count on your potential clients looking up your name in Google. It is very important to present them with your background information in order to build trust. Social networking sites are usually ranked very well so your profiles on these websites will likely appear at the top of search results. First appearances say a lot about you and your business. Signing up with a site isn't good enough.

Your profile has to sell you and you have to give value and content in order to attract followers. If your profiles are structured to make your name indistinguishable with the products and services you offer, then searches for the

Sales video: Do I Have The Right Presentation Skills
Friday, 09 January 2009
By Mike Hays

If you are the speaker in marketing videos, you should make sure you understand what tools are needed for a successful internet video production.

Let's take an inventory of what's available to you. You have your face, your head, your voice, your hands, your clothes, your body language, possibly some physical objects, such as a laser pointer or a pen to hold in your hand, an old-fashioned perhaps, other tangible visual aids such as a flat screen monitor, a erasable board, a blackboard, a large easel with a big pad of white drawing paper and multi-colored felt pens.

Let's consider a few of these. First, your face. Your eyes and mouth are the most expressive parts of your face in a corporate video production. Practice in front of a mirror. Learn how to raise your eyebrows, roll your eyes, control your blinking. Practice facial expressions. Get a number of those TODAY I AM FEELING magnetic pads that you put on the refrigerator and put it up in the bathroom and see if you can't mimic each of those facial expressions
